The site is located in the municipality of the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, approximately 9km south west of the Margaret River Township in Forest Grove.

The property supplies grapes to the highly regarded McHenry Hohnen label with ongoing fruit contracts available. The Vineyard has had outstanding recent success with its fruit through the world wide acclaim of the McHenry Hohnen Calgardup Brook Chardonnay.
Current planted varieties are Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz, Marsanne, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Margaret River appellation is recognized as a world class wine growing region. It is also a growing tourist destination, with attractions including spectacular coastal scenery, safe swimming beaches, world renowned surfing destinations, native forests and a cool martime climate.
