Welcome to my July local market property wrap. You’d be aware through the press that the market conditions are continuing to soften and at the risk of repeating myself this reinforces the importance of getting your pricing and marketing correct when selling. Although stock on market is slowly increasing and currently sitting at around 50% of a balance market. We have a traditional lull in the market at this time of year due to winter, tax time and school holidays but certainly our whole team has been appraising and preparing plenty of properties and new stock will be arriving shortly across the board.

One of the biggest residential planning reforms in decades

The WA Government has proposed major planning reforms that could make subdivision easier for R20 (and lower-density) properties – reducing the minimum lot size and potentially unlocking development or resale value for tens of thousands of Perth homes, including in suburbs across the Western Suburbs.
