Moving homes can be such a stressful time, especially when unorganised. We hope this section can help inform you and plan your move, in the hopes that it reduces your stress levels so that you can just enjoy your lovely new home.
Working with a checklist is the most effective way to ensuring that all bases are covered when moving house. Our Moving Checklist breaks down the move into easy and approachable tasks, making your move as time and energy efficient as it can possibly be.
Choosing a removalist is a hard task. You need to find an efficient and experienced moving company to help your move flow. Have a look at our local tradies section, which contains a complete list of carefully selected tradies we have successfully worked with in the past.
When To Move / Timing
Choosing when to move largely suits your personal circumstances. We suggest planing for the move to take slightly longer than expected – this alleviates stress, and keeps you from forgetting things in the rush!
Prior to Settlement
Begin moving as much as your can from your house before the settlement day. This will ensure you’re not overwhelmed with furniture to move on the day where you receive the keys.
Get onto it early!
As we mentioned previously, the earlier the better. It is all about getting yourself organised, and the best way to do that is to ensure you have plenty of time to manage how things will be moved and stored.
